Flameless candles make a nice addition to your Christmas decor. They have the look of a real candle but are safer than having an actual flame. There is less worry if you leave the room, have children and/or pets.
Flameless candles usually work with batteries but some are electric. There are some that have a timer and remote. You can set it to run for a certain amount of time and you don’t have to worry about forgetting to shut it off and running the battery down faster.
Most of my flameless candles are battery operated. I have one Christmas flameless candle that is electric. I prefer the convenience of the ones that take batteries. The battery operated ones are also nice when the power goes out, although some are not very bright, so I use several together. The advantage of the electric ones are you don’t have to keep replacing the batteries.
There are flameless Christmas tree candles that you can clip onto your tree and make a beautiful addition to it. Your tree will have the look of Christmas trees of the past and give the room a warm cozy feel.
You can find flameless candles that are scented or unscented. Scented flameless Christmas candles come in various scents. Vanilla seems to be the most common scent. Some other scents are: spice, cinnamon, wood spice.
I really like the flameless candles that have a flickering light, making it look more realistic. Some have a steady light and do not flicker. If it is important to you to have one or the other check the description to see if it has a flickering light.
A flameless candle Christmas centerpiece would make not only make your Christmas dinner table beautiful, but you would also not have to worry about dripping wax or if they accidentally get knocked over.
You can purchase flameless candles that are the same type as regular candles: pillar, taper, votive, tealights, as well as various shapes. The flame light is usually white or orange. There are plain ones in many different colors and others that have designs on them. With so many to choose from you may find not only ones you like, but also some that would be great for gifts.
